Suspicious message on Zazzle

A few minutes ago, I got this message on Zazzle. It’s my first time getting such a message on Zazzle. The sender name is Head of Inform Department and doesn’t look like an official Zazzle employee account. Does this happen often on Zazzle?

The scamer did a good job in writting the message professionally but the Dp chosen is cartoonish :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Yes, I blocked & reported them immediately. I just wanted to alert other Zazzlers about this message.

It’s really sad that these forums are public, there’s nothing stopping these people that send scam messages from perusing these threads and figuring out how to be more believable. I do miss the old forums when there’s things like this happening.

@SimplyDesigned   There’s no way they could get a blue Zazzle Employee label without being an official Zazzle Employee.

That implies that all Zazzlers, even the ones that do not come onto the forums would be aware of the badge. If they were we would not have all these “suspicious message” threads. Meanwhile, while that badge is a saving grace, the forums are still open for these scammers to refine their tactics via posts like this & adapting their strategies to take advantage of those that don’t know about the badge. Older folks that aren’t as knowledgeable and new Zazzlers that are unaware of how Zazzle works are at most risk here and would like to see Zazzle brainstorm a way to **bleep** it in the bud. Even if that means sending an email showing what a Zazzle Employee’s badge looks like to every single creator & customer since BOTH parties use chat.
