Tissue Paper Weight

Good morning!

First, apologies for the ignorant question.  I am not familiar with tissue paper.  I think I know the answer to a customer question but wanted to make absolutely sure before answering.

I know tissue paper comes in two sheets.  And it states 10 lbs.  I assume that means 2 sheets at 10lbs, not 10lbs for each sheet.  Is that correct?

10 lbs may be the paper thickness, not the actual weight (like art paper), but I don’t know the actual answer.

I believe the 10lb refers to each individual sheet. However, I reached out to our team here to try and confirm for you. I’ll let you know when we have a further update.

Technically neither. The weight in pounds is how much 500 sheets weighs (a ream of paper). So it is a measure of thickness of individual sheets since 500 sheets of thin paper will weigh less than 500 sheets of thick paper. The weight of individual sheets isn’t shown since it would be meaninglessly small.
