I am confused by the “Sort by popularity” option in the store management. What is the definition of “popularity” in this case?
In one of my shops, four hidden products are among the first five hits when I sort by popularity. In another shop, I do not see any of the products that have actually sold among the first five listings. In fact, there are products with no likes and one of them has no views at all.
So, clearly, “popularity” does not have to do with the design that are on these products because some are not even public. Does that mean that “popularity” refers to the Zazzle product itself? What kind of product that is popular right now? That does not make sense either as different product types are among the first five results in different shops, even if both shops have the same product in them (a notebook for example).
I really want to make use of the functions/tools that are in the store management area but to do that I must also understand the purpose of the functions. I have searched the help pages without finding any explanation so now I am posting here.
