I went to the booginhead site a week or two ago now to check to see if they were still in business. They are. They are a small Mom run business with a staff of 7, or so their site claims. It looks they are doing just fine and are not about to close shop.
I sent them an email through their contact option on the website asking them what was happening between them and Zazzle. I explained that over the last 4 or so months that pacifiers have become completely unavailable to Zazzle customers. I also told them that I love designing them and selling them too. Through their agreement with Zazzle, they are one of 2 places that allow someone to design and then buy a pacifier. At least a quick search of the net did not reveal any others. The other place does not seem to allow designers to post products/designs for sale. So Zazzle is the only place that I’ve found that allows designers to create custom pacifiers for customers to personalize. I asked them to look into their agreement with Zazzle as something must be amiss. They have a page on their website that totes the ability to design your own and the link takes one to their Zazzle store. With so few staff I worry that something has fallen through the cracks and that the agreement will be discontinued… Not only would we loose another product meant for the littlest members of the world, but I would probably have to change my forum name…lol.
Even though pacifiers have been unavailable for purchase for quite some time, I still get daily views, There is interest and an active customer base that is looking to purchase them. There has been a working agreement between Z and booginhead for at least 5 years and there is hardly any competition for custom pacifiers.
Obviously Zazzle can’t disclose anything about their relationship/contracts etc with me/us. Nor can booginhead. I understand that. But I will ask of you as I asked of booginhead. Please reach out to them and find a solution so that we can keep designing pacifiers and so that customers can keep buying them. They really are a great product and with booginhead being so small a company, maybe something has slipped through the cracks that could be rectified with a little proactive communication.
I get that a lot has been happening at Zazzle, so much of which I appreciate and applaud. I understand that you are all really busy keeping this great platform going and growing. But it makes me sad that such a long standing product is disappearing.
