I saw a thread for Twitter accounts, and one for Pinterest, but none for Instagram accounts! If you have one that you would like to share, please post below. I will follow back anyone who follows me, as long as it is an art-related account.
Not expecting a follow back, as my insta is dead…have no idea how to exploit that platform for Zazz, not at the moment anyway. I took a good look through your entire stream. That’s a lonnnnng set of amazing work you have there! It’s cool to see the in-progress photos, and the colors everywhere!
I LOVE IT! That Chinese New Year mug video is great marketing for a really pretty product! Well done! Funny I should tune in just now, as I am sitting here trying to figure out how I can make my own animated graphic gif post to insta! (I think I am on the verge of getting it)
Thanks so much, Windy! I’ve just started making videos – not all that proficient at anything besides posting stills on ig & fb! I was lucky with that mug, I got many sales from it – even referrals from that post! 😉
I like how you were “in” the video even though not showing your face (a lot of us value our privacy!) yet, because we saw your hands and heard your voice, it’s very personal. I decided to use Adobe Rush to make my video. Learning Curve!
Thanks, it was intentional. I HATE being on camera! Never have used Adobe Rush. Just used my phone (well, hubby actually took the video) & then he cropped it square in some phone app, I have no idea what! lol
@Marcia Ah, I was wondering how you were keeping the pic so steady while filming! I thought maybe you were using some kind of a phone stand or something. In my case, I was not filming. I was doing a different kind of video and finally managed to conquer it! Posted it here. Decided to go subtle with the basic message.
Good job, Windy! I’ve done videos like that before, putting it together using some iPhone app. But it took me awhile to get the hang out of doing one. And subtle is good…haha
I mostly just slap some new art, cat photos, or wip art up there every once in a while. I suppose I should actually do product images and things more often, but as windy mentioned insta has kind of a tricky algorithum *shrugs* so I mostly just try to have fun with it! lol, I will give you all a follow
Followed! You asked in another thread about mailing lists. I have seen Insta people do giveaways. I have not done this myself, but I think they have some stickers printed up and they mail those out to people who reply. This allows them to get email and or snail mail contact from the potential customer.
Hi Marcia, I love your store and instagram! Have followed
I’m relatively new to all of this and I was just wondering do you post only your own designs to your instagram? Or do you also post designs from other zazzle creators as well (with the relevant referral codes)?
My zazzle store is Inkbloom Designs (sorry, I don’t know how to put the link) and my instagram is https://www.instagram.com/inkbloomdesigns
