I’d like to understand how Zazzle’s zRank system really works.
I’ve noticed that my zRank sometimes goes up and then drops again, even when I’m actively creating new designs and working on my store.
I’d love to hear from experienced Zazzle creators about a few things:
- What are the main reasons zRank goes down?
- Can zRank decrease even when we continue publishing new products?
- How much do sales, product views, referral sales, and external traffic affect zRank?
- Can having too many products with few views or no sales negatively affect our ranking?
- Does updating old products, improving SEO, creating collections, or promoting products help increase zRank?
- Is it normal for zRank to fluctuate even when we haven’t changed anything in our stores?
I understand that Zazzle’s algorithm may change over time, but it would be really helpful to hear about your actual experiences.
For those who have managed to maintain a zRank of 8–10, what strategies have worked best for you?
