what's going on with Z??

Hi everyone,

I have the same problem. Many products have ‘Last Viewed Date: 1025 years, 4 months’ and ‘Last Sold Date: 12/31/0999’,  AND my sales have fallen to not even enough for Z payment this month, this is very scary stuff, this from healthy sales since I started on Z, also see strange calculation of my 10% royalty. Anyone else with these same problems? All the very best to

everyone. RjFxx

Last viewed date “a few centuries ago” is applied on my new listings created 3-4 days ago. As for the sales I am still getting sales. Hope zazzle will fix this “last viewed” technical issue soon.

Here’s 21 pages of discussion about the new terms of service, which have changed the royalty system recently. This is only one of many threads where people have been reporting how they are affected by the new terms.  https://community.zazzle.com/t5/ambassador-program/upcoming-changes-to-zazzle-s-terms-of-use/td-p/194748Upcoming Changes To Zazzle’s Terms of Use - Zazzle

I have no sales past two days. Unusual for me.

I am seeing two of the same products I uploaded a day ago one is fine, and one has “Last Viewed Date: 1025 years, 5 months ago” do we need to call anyone to have this fixed?

Is it safe to post

I read in the news yesterday that Zazzle has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit. I wonder whether this has any bearing on matters.

Hey RjFxx,
The last viewed date and sold date have been passed to our technical team and we are investigating this.

Thanks,

Thank you! Can you please make sure they’re aware of the duplicates issue as well? Some recently published items are spawning doubles or triples, but the extra copies are tied to the original somehow, e.g., deleting an extra copy seems to kill the original, too.

Some people were also missing some recently created items in the backend view of their stores. I don’t know if this is still the case. For me, the item took 7ish hours to show,  appeared after newer items, and then copied itself.

Thanks!

@Adam   Can you please also pass along the other forum feeds that have been happening. There are multiple additional issues related to this.

You can google it. Only effects California, Oregon, Washington. The defendant was accused by Zazzle of posting discounts for Zazzle products on Zazzle’s website, which occurred before 2024. We designers don’t have access to do that, but Zazzle used to host advertisers or perhaps it was one of their officially licensed corps.

Interesting!  Claimants are eligible for vouchers. I found the following:

Eligible class members will receive one of the following:

  • Every eligible class member will automatically receive a $5 voucher for use on Zazzle.com.
  • Class members that spent more than $35 on discounted Zazzle.com goods during the class period, will receive a second $5 voucher, totaling $10.
  • Class members that use a settlement voucher to make an online purchase will receive a free one-month subscription to Zazzle Plus , which includes unlimited free shipping for the duration of the membership.

You need to include: random product duplications, public products landing in hidden, though they STILL public, and the fact the red optimization triangles popped up ALL OVER whatever store category I placed a new product last Friday that got the peculiar view count. (For example, I posted one new holiday postcard in store category of holiday “cards” and now EVERY holiday card has a red triangle! (there were none before this error.)  But if you change anything, it just creates a duplicate. Also changing merck veiws created duplicates. I presently have one watch that turned into 3 merck views of the lady in yellow shirt with watch.

If I was a cynic I might wonder whether we’re helping to pay for this.

I’ve wondered this before as well. This is not their first lawsuit recently either. They are currently in one where they illegally used the bloom fonts without the proper commercial licensing and will likely have to go back and pay damages, etc. Last news I heard on that was in May (that Zazzles bid to do something was denied) on Bloomberg.

They’ll never come out and say it, but I definitely think we are paying to make up for their losses :broken_heart:

I am also seeing duplicate posting on my account. Same item twice.

In view of the fact that the benefits to the claimants will come in the form of credits those claimants cannot use without spending money, I do not think that the recent changes in TOS have anything to do with the lawsuit you mention. We might be paying for another lawsuit though.

Thank you Adam, for letting me know. Also hopefully, the problem with calculating my 10% royalty, which I don’t understand how Zazzle has calculated my royalty, I get a different amount than Zazzle’s amount. Thank you in advance for the help. All the very best to you all, artist RjFxx

Yeah experiencing the same.
