In the very near future we will be updating the store backend page. The work that’s being done is mostly under-the-hood updates, but there will be some minor changes to the visual appearance of the page. Beyond that, there’s two improvements that we’d like to point out:
- You'll have the ability to delete multiple discontinued products at once. The Select menu at the top-right of the page has been updated to allow a user to select all discontinued products, and then you can use the Actions dropdown to delete them. Unfortunately, the bulk select is limited to either discontinued products or non-discontinued products in one action; a user is not able to select discontinued products and then select non-discontinued products. This is because the actions for each type of product are different.
- The page will be full-width. We’re moving away from a product grid that’s only three products wide so that you can view more products at once. This should improve your productivity and reduce your time spent scrolling around the page.
We're still testing these changes, and don't have an exact answer of when this feature might be released to the general public. We're hoping some time very soon. We will do our best to provide updates as they become available.
