Hi All : ) I am wondering the best way to distribute text to be evenly spaced vertically. I think it has to be done manually. I asked this question in Ask a Question, and never received a reply; I'm assuming there are other designers with the same question. (I also did a chat with Zazzle to no avail) Since I asked that question there I have played with text with the new design tool. I used two different text boxes and finally--when trying to align them manually, I saw a thin green line inside the joined outlines of the 2 boxes. I guess that means the boxes are not overlapping. ? That is helpful if so, but what if we'd like an even SPACE between more than 2 text boxes? A pre thank you to anyone with any information. Cheryl : )

I have tried to find Greeting Cards to create and now all I see is pressed cards or similar. Are Greeting Cards no longer an option? They were until this morning.

Due to health reasons, I've been away from creating for several months. Now I not only had trouble finding my saved designs I have no idea how to find the design tools I used -- i.e. tiling. I searched for a tutorial but have not have one. It would really help to show visuals of what/where/how for these new tools. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It's been a very long time since I've put any effort into my Zazzle shops, so everything's moved around and changed. Does Zazzle still offer .psd template files for the correct print size with the bleeds, safe zone, etc.? I can't find them anywhere on the site, and the links I've found on old community posts just lead to a 404 page. If there aren't any templates anymore, is there at least anywhere where the correct print size is indicated? I can't seem to find anything anymore.

Hi! 🙂 I would like to know if there is some way to get the product design templates downloaded for the products. For example the calendar, but for all others too. I found this url: https://www.zazzle.com/z.2/lp/guidefilepage But only some of them are there. I want the templates so I can design my products to the maximum quality possible. The only ones that I can guess are the prints, and on the others I can only guess the proportions by looking at the pic, but that is not ideal. Well, another way is capturing screen and making it bigger than required, but I would prefer a template. Do you know how to get the files for the templates or where are they? Also, which is the printing resolution used in Zazzle? 150, 200 dpi, 300 dpi? If there are no templates, I can also make my own knowing the needed resolution and the product description and proportions. Thank you!

I don't see a setting for turning off Aspect Ratio, like in the old Design Tool. I have cropping to do on Photos and I can't. How do I turn off Aspect Ratio, for Cropping in the New Design Tool? Can anyone help?

I am concerned because with the new design tool, there is no easy way for a customer to figure out how to change images or text. Prevoiusly, all they had to do was use "Personalization tool". I am adding in my description that they must "Edit design" and then are able to change image and personalized text. Is Zazzle going to make this any easier for customers to figure it out or what is everyone else doing? And are you losing any sales due to this?

When I use the dropdown menu and select "Transer this design" it opens the 'Find a product' page. An example is a discontinued football jersey I wanted to transfer to an allover tank top. For weeks I was just typing in 'allover' and the tank would be in the results for transfer. That now produces "No results":. I tried tanktop, allover tank, shirts, teeshirts, clothing... nothing works! Chatted with the AI bot then a live agent. The upshot seems to be that because an item is discontinued there is no longer anything available that can be transferred to a currently available item despite the transfer option still being available. ( I have previously done this with thousands of discontinued items!) Seems the only options are to keep trying what would be logical search terms hoping you luck out (good luck with that!) or use a live product listing of the same item as the discontinued one and transfer to the desired item, an awkward, uncessary extra step.

Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V does not seem to work between products. It was possible in the old design tool and I used this feature all the time, is it not possible in the new design tool? Please bring the old one back while this one is being sorted out

I just published a detailed post w/ screenshots on this here but the bottom line is - After you click to add a QR code and enter a dummy URL as prompted, you're not done. In order for it to show up on the Personalize your Design/Edit panel the customer gets by default when they first click to Personalize from the product page, you need to manually take more steps to set it as a template field. Setting it as an actual template is not intuitive for the Designer but if this step is missed, it's not intuitive for the customer either on how to edit the URL the QR image points to. I write this because I recently tried customizing a design from the MP that used Zazzle's built-in QR code generator and even as a semi-experienced Designer I was lost at first on how to customize the URL for the QR image. That led me to finding that for some products the field for editing the URL is right there on the default Edit/Personalize panel, but for others the customer has to know to switch to the "Add Text"panel to see the field for editing the QR URL. Or they have to try double-clicking over the QR image itself in which case they'll get a little pop-up to edit the URL. That naturally led me to conclude that the process for setting up a Zazzle-generated QR code/Url template is not intuitive as some Designers are missing the important step of setting it as an actual template. So this is an FYI to Designers wanting to know how to add a QR code to their design with the new interface, but it's also a request to Zazzle to reconsider the process as you've made it. Once the Designer has added their dummy text in the "Add your URL' box as prompted, it should automatically become a template field that is offered on the Edit/"Personalize your design" field that customers first see when they click to Personalize on the product page. The extra steps of manually setting it as a template field is not intuitive at all and therefore makes it difficult for the customer to figure out how to personalize this important field if the Designer didn't know they had to manually set it up as a template first.

How come when you try to tile mirror, it takes your image and moves it to the side, then mirrors it so it's not centered at all? Would love to be able to mirror tile and leave the image centered.

Haven't created anything in Zazzle for a while. Came back today to open a new shop, create some products, but I can't find any design dimensions for products. No list, nothing. I finally find that there should be guides you can download from the editing section of the product, but there are none on the product I'm trying to design (mug), and the dimensions I used to use are wrong now. Is this a glitch, or do we just guess the image sizes we need now?
