We researched current consumer spending trends and found that just as people are focusing travel on bucket list trips, total immersion vacations, and group hotel nights, they are dining out less but still enjoying special meals and getting together with others. The pandemic left people with the need to congregate with friends, but the economy has them cutting back on restaurant dining. So, after the holidays, the entertainment section of our blog will focus on potluck get-togethers. We're not talking about who's bringing sides and who's bringing dessert.
We mean a focused food theme get-together. Let's say they decide on a pizza party. Attendees can make their specialty pizza at home or at the location and all pizzas are baked at the location. They could have a restaurant style dinner party with each attendee bringing a restaurant-style main course. They can all chip in for drinks, salads, and bread. People started cooking and baking during the pandemic lockdown and apparently the economy is causing them to do it again.
Here's where your paper plates come in. Everyone can bring some plates touting their contribution. The plates can say Chicken Cacciatore from Marie's Kitchen or have image of Chicken Cacciatore. They can also be plates for casual pizza parties or for restaurant-style dinner parties. Some of the plates will be featured on the blogs. All of the plates will be included in this Pinterest board.
