Hey everyone, I run a YouTube channel and get asked some questions over and over. I want to make sure I have the correct answers so here are some questions I would like to make sure I'm answering correctly.
1. If you are in the basic (original) referral program, do you need to add your associate id to the end of the url of products before you share them, or is it automatically included as long as you are signed in?
2. What about collections? Do you add the associate # at the end of collection urls before sharing?

I do believe that if you are sharing directly from your account and are signed in, your associate ID is always added automatically, to individual products and to collections. It's easy to tell. You can see it there if you look at the url you are posting.

Thank you! My friend who I am posting this question for, another fellow Zazzler, says when she shares her collection, she can't see her associate # at the end of it like she can on the products. So we were curious if it's on there, and she just can't see it, like hidden in the code somewhere? Do you know? I am in the 2.0, that is why I can't check on my own account.

@wheresthekarma @PenguinPower Exactly. The part after rf= would be your affiliate number (see as an example here: https://www.zazzle.com/z/a3n0bdmi?rf=238748736489762753 or https://www.zazzle.com/collections/civic_center-119162491824380625?rf=238748736489762753 for collections).

Thank you MOM, did you try to share a collection and see the associate # on there? I am just asking because my friend said it doesn't show up on her collections, only on her products. (I am in the 2.0 so can't check myself as it would look different.)

@wheresthekarma Yes, I did check and that’s the reason I posted both links in my reply. My referral number ends with 53. Tell your friend she needs to grab the link from the backend after she enters the collection in question (in the backend), it’s all the way on the bottom if I recall it correctly now.

@wheresthekarma Tell your friend to click on the link icon of the sharing tool in the backend, all the way down the page.

NOT in the PP2 program either and my referral ID is automatically added to the link when sharing a Collection from the backend as @MOM has explained and also from the Collection page itself. Whether it's my Collection or someone else's, click Share button at top right of Collection page, click the chain link icon, then the top block titled "Link" is the link w/ my ID added. Same with products, whether mine or others' - the Share icon on the product page, Copy Link, includes my RF ID.

Thank you MOM. I sent the link to this discussion to her so she can read for herself what you all are saying. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.
