adjust letter spacing in new designer tool

1) How do you adjust letter spacing in the new designer tool?  I'm trying to adjust the letter spacing in a slightly crowded script "Jennifer" and the new tool jumps from 0 to .05 which is too much space for the script text. It will not let me type in anything lower like .01 or .02. It just goes back to zero.   (There is plenty of room in the text box.)

I was going to report the same thing! I tried switching back to the original design tool and it was OK, so I think it must be a technical issue.

Yes, that is happening to me too if I try to use the new tool. That is a major issue. Many fonts need to adjust spacing only by a .01 increment.

Yes, you can now increase the letter spacing in smaller increments.
