I just started a store a few weeks ago. Recently, I was given a brief unofficial review of my store which informed me that my niche will not be profitable as it is not in demand, I could get shut down for trademark issues since I generate with AI, and also the mugs I have listed will never sell. How would you take that advice? Should I stop where I am and refocus? No hurt feelings if this is the general consensus.

I have been able to find ONE single product created this year that actually sold. Anything else that sold is way older, sometimes even created 10 years ago! I find it hard to believe that my designs are suddenly so much worse. Is anyone else seeing this? Or any thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks.

I joined Zazzle in I think 2018 when I joined TeePublic and Redbubble too. I found Zazzle extreamly complex to navigate and understand the intent of their sites logic. (I'm probably a case study in confusion with Zazzle's site design) Now i'm not totally and idiot on website design, I got paid to do it for years in the earlier days of web work. ANYWAY, I tried Zazzle, uploaded a bunch of stuff, tshirts, stickers and other stuff. Then got confused, frustrated with Zazzle seeing sales on the other sites for the exact same items, same titles, same tags, while never seeing anything on Zazzle. I gave up, left it for YEARS and just a few months ago got an actual payment. I came back looking at what sold and saw there were a few but since I wasn't active the monthly "fee" ate up the little I sold until now. I finally got a lot of time on my hands this summer and decided to try to understand Zazzle again. It took me awhile to figure out when/why to use collections, compared to categories (super confusing). Then I figured it out, and have totally reworked my store into 3 separate stores, pulling out photography related, any my watercolor designs, and some random graphic illustrations. Now I'm much better suited moving forward. BUT I have been doing this for a couple months straight, and have almost 1500 products in my main store. It's gone from a zrank of 5 to 6 now, and I still only get about 2-3 views each day across all those products. My question is, am I being punished for this inactivity over the years somehow? Or does indexing across Zazzle and the internet just take that long? What's your stores typical search percentage versus number to total products? I'm just curious. I get Zazzle much better now finally so I'm not really disappointed, just curious. AND I'm loving the design tool now that I understand it. Wish I had found some sort of tutorial for it somewhere. But I get it pretty well now. I think learning Photoshop might have been easier? 🙂 Oh, and can we just get a "save as" button, so experimentation is easier? ha! I thought I posted this question yesterday but don't see it anywhere so forgive a duplicate. I actually sold my first item but when I look at it, it says Design Changes Pending Review. What does this mean? I can't seem to find an answer in past questions.

So yesterday I sold a number of items for $672 @ 14.9% royalty. It states 3rd party. However, I don't get credited with 14.9% of the value. I only get around half of what it should be. Can an expert on such matters advise as to why that should be?

Good morning, Before, last viewed date included a lot of great information. Now, it's just the title and date created. Does anyone know where we can find that lost information? Viewing insights doesn't work. It doesn't show the information that last viewed date did before. Thanks!

Just when I think I have Zazzle figured out structurally, I get stuck again. I have hundreds of products on my member profile page when logged in and working. I've been assuming they are unfinished, and unsellable products just waiting around for me to finish up. Can I safely just delete all those suckers? If I have saved or published a product into an actual store, those can't also be on my members profile page can they? Meaning they can't be in both places (stores) at the same time right?

The discussion was closed because it was a duplicate, but the other thread wasn't linked. I have no idea where the original thread is. I still can't find it. The answer is a simple yes or no - is Zazzle interested to know of shops selling all white/black products? (Or any other single color for that matter.) If yes, how do we report them? The current "Report this design" function does not seem to be working, as many of us found out, because these shops are still there weeks after a report been sent (hence my original question). Is there another way to do it so we can rely on action being taken? I just wonder, and I know I am not the only one, if it is worth my time reporting shops with no design at all on their products.

I know there has been a lot of discussion recently about designs that are just solid black appearing in the marketplace. It's pretty clear that these are not allowed because most of them were also full of tag spam. But now I'm seeing a lot of designs that are just a solid color that isn't black. The tags are sorta relevant, but it's not really a design, just a color. Should I report these, or are these allowable designs? I'm not gonna call anyone out on the forum, but if you want to see what I mean, check out this query: Solid Color | Zazzle (Some of the products in that query have an actual design on a solid background - that's not what I'm referring to. The ones I'm puzzling over are just one solid color with no other design elements.)

Hi again! I’ve got a question I’ve really been wondering about as a new seller here... Is there still real opportunity for beginners to make money on Zazzle? Or is the platform already too saturated, with only experienced sellers making consistent sales? I’m not looking for shortcuts — I’m fully committed and putting in the work every day. I just stumbled upon a product with a very long product description and in the description text is links to Etsy listings, a reddit thread, some other websites as well as other Zazzle domains. Is this allowed? Can I post a product on Zazzle and add a link in the description to where to find complementary products on another marketplace?
