I know there has been a lot of discussion recently about designs that are just solid black appearing in the marketplace. It's pretty clear that these are not allowed because most of them were also full of tag spam. But now I'm seeing a lot of designs that are just a solid color that isn't black. The tags are sorta relevant, but it's not really a design, just a color. Should I report these, or are these allowable designs? I have been able to find ONE single product created this year that actually sold. Anything else that sold is way older, sometimes even created 10 years ago! I find it hard to believe that my designs are suddenly so much worse. Is anyone else seeing this? Or any thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks. ... View more

I’ve had the Zazzle’s Earnings App on my phone for years.  It stopped displaying the earnings in the past couple days so I deleted it.   Now I can’t seem to find it anywhere to reinstall it.  Does anyone know where I can find it?  ... View more

Classic LOVE Motif with a Modern Twist by 1234Shine On Tuesday, I noticed Zazzle (by Zazzle, I mean Zazzle alrigothm) has put some of my listings under the "Wedding" department. For example, this shirt was in: Weddings > Décor & Party Supplies > Party & Shower Supplies > Bridal & Wedding Shower Supplies. That was a big mistake by itself because there's no clothing within the Wedding department, so I moved it to "Clothing & Shoes" where it belongs.   Last night, after reading a post from @MasterpieceCafe , I checked this listing and Zazzle has once again put it back to Weddings > Décor & Party Supplies > Party & Shower Supplies > Bridal & Wedding Shower Supplies, so I switched it back to Clothing & Shoes.   I checked my listing around 7am this morning: Zazzle has so efficiently thrown it back to "Wedding" again.  I changed it back to Clothing & Shoes for the 3rd time, but at this point, I know most likely I'm just wasting my time...   This shirt is an "Evergreen" design. People could buy it for anyone they "LOVE", for any occasion to show "LOVE": Valentines, Mother's Day, friends, teachers, birthday, bridal showers, colleague retirement etc. But when someone purchases this for grandma birthday, friends, or just for themselves, they are actually buying a "Wedding" product, according to Zazzle. Isn't it weird?   I know this happened probably because I had "bridal shower" in the tag.  Zazzle has been emphasising and reminding us creators over and over again how important it is to optimize our listings. Well, while I optimizing my listing with "bridal shower" to reach more potential customers, I was also, unknowingly, optimizing my royalty deduction to 50% in 3rd party sales.  My "Search Engine Optimization" has turned into "Royalty Deduction Optimization."  Wow, did not really see that coming...   ... Another thing I noticed over the last few days is that, when I choose create a new product and select the mens basic white t-shirt or budget tote, before I have even entered my royalty rate, that the base price is different every time. I am using all the same settings, no color changes, no extra features added... the t-shirt has shown up as anywhere from $18.95 to $21.95 before adding my royalty rate on tote bags at first I thought it was because some designs had colored straps and some had the design on both sides, so I started making them all the same, and saw base price variations there too. I saw a hint today that more changes MIGHT be coming ... when I created and began to list a new vinyl sticker, at first a LOT of options popped up that were not there yesterday for me... including "laptop stickers". I was so excited that before I chose this, I jumped into a facebook group for designers to share the news...however, when I went back to the page, it had defaulted to the old crafts & party supplies> scrapbooking I sure hope there will be new categories! Some are sorely needed...for example, UNISEX t-shirts instead of being forced to choose mens or womens.  Anyone else notice this or heard abt it? ... View more

I’m curious to hear from designers who have embedded their Zazzle RSS feed on their own websites. Has it been beneficial for traffic or sales? Also, if a customer clicks a product link from your website's RSS feed, does that count as a self-referral or is it considered a cross-promotion link with the 15% flat rate?
