Hello

I am trying to create categories for my merchandise, but they won't show on the front page of my store.

I can only see products and collections only

Also, I have noticed that newly created products are not showing in my products in the store.

Help!

Thanks

@womaninlove1980 Almost everything that happens at Zazzle needs time to index.  For the most part products and collections do show right away, but categories, changes to categories, changes to tags titles and descriptions etc need to be indexed before they will show on the site.  Usually 24 -48hrs is enough time, but sometimes things do take longer.  Keep working and in a day or two you will begin to see the things you've done today.

In addition to what @PacifierCity said, remember:

1. Under your STORE settings you must choose ADVANCED SETTINGS and add CATEGORIES to the VISABLE section. Remember to hit SUBMIT button at very bottom of the page.
2. Categories must contain a cover image to be featured on the Store homepage
3. I believe that there is a minimum number of products (6?) in the category before it shows (I might be remembering this from the COLLECTIONS though.)

Thanks for this, in addition, how do you rearrange your store homepage to show categories first?

@kennethwfd  Under STORE settings - select Advanced Settings

To the right are panels for Hidden and Visible Sections
to the left of each section is a (very faint) hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines). Hover over this and the 4 directional arrows icon appears so you can drag the sections to arrange them.

Thanks, the icons are indeed faint
