Could Zazzle give us an update on paper types for paper sheets?

There have been several threads discussing problems with products on the paper sheet product. It appears that some of the paper choices have been discontinued? The quarter sheets now appear to only be available in semi-gloss, and the half and full sheets are only semi-gloss or matte. Felt, recycled, linen & satin have all disappeared. Are these permanent changes? Just trying to figure out the best settings for various products.

Hey @Cat,

For paper sheets, we now offer semi-gloss cardstock only for the 4.5x5.6 size. For the two larger sizes, we now offer a semi-gloss cardstock and a thinner matte paper type only.

The other papers offered on the largest size, 8.5x11, have been discontinued and the designs previously published on those papers migrated to the matte paper type. These changes were necessary to enhance the overall customer experience based on feedback we have received.

@Mark Thanks so much for clarifying! In that case, I'll go ahead and restrict my foldable designs to the matte paper type.

@Mark I'm so glad Zazzle decided to do that!!! I have always set my paper type to semi-gloss cardstock for the 4.5x5.6 size. Then I'd get sales where the customer changed the paper to the thinner matte paper. And a good deal of the time, once they received their product they cancelled the sale. It was extremely frustrating!

I am not too pleased with the loss of the Linen paper, which was perfect for wedding programs. I am hoping that Zazzle will finally consider making the 8.5x11 sheets downloadable, which would resolve a lot of issues especially since couples tend to work on programs last-minute.

I second the request for downloadable 8.5 x 11 sheets. I get TONS of requests for downloadable programs and I usually end up doing them on posters or invitations - but paper sheets would be soo much easier - especially since often times people want to print them on a standard printer/copier.
