Yes I think it's very helpful. It's a great way to showcase products that go together. This is  helpful for holidays, events, matching clothes+accessories, matching home goods and thematic gift collections.

Collections certainly separates Z from most PODs and distinguishes them as more than just a POD. The ability to create a curated set of products and easily share it, with anyone or everyone, used to be a bit harder and required 3rd party services in many instances. I used Weebly for awhile to create sets of products. It is a smart tool for Zazzle to offer us because it is cohesive with Z's niche approach and it encourages sharing.

It is useful for sellers like me who do lots of different things and need a simple way to display a selection of limited products to a specific audience. And it is a good tool to create sets, such as bathroom sets or car sets or dorm sets etc.. But it is really great for people with a focused specialty such as party planners and event organizers and wedding designers etc. because much of what they do needs to be catalogued or complied in specific ways for individual clients.

Anyone else remember galleries?

Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and experience

how do you market without a collection?

I think that the new collections system is mostly focused on weddings and events. The other categories are too vague for those of us who don’t create products for weddings, graduation, and other events.

So, I create my collections as best as I can, but I have not noticed increased sales as a result. Because of that, I focus my efforts elsewhere.
