Looking at my products in the back end set to display products that are hidden: I noticed some have that red eye icon but some have a red triangle. Are they both hidden? Why is it showing me hidden but only showing the eye icon for some and not all of those hidden?
I'm pretty sure that the one's with the eye have been manually hidden, where as the triangle ones have been hidden due to the automatic optimization hiding.
