How best to send an instant download to a friend

OK, I consider myself pretty computer friendly, as a starter for this question.  So this afternoon I ordered one of my cards as a computer download to send to a friend for her birthday. I received it, I edited it, download it and now what?  Do I send it as an attachment to an email or is there some other method that I'm not thinking of.   If it has two pages, would I send both as attachments?  I thought it would be good to try this out for myself just in case someone asks me -- and I obviously don't quite have the answer.

Thanks.

Vivian

I would suggest d/loading in standard pdf format, then emailing the pdf as an attachment in an email to your friend.
You didn't mention what format you d/loaded it in, since you already did it.

Before you ask---On a Mac (I am a Mac user)
here's how to convert png to pdf format.

Mac: Open the image in the Preview app. Select File > Export as PDF > input a file name > Save.

Hi — so the best way on a desktop is as an attachment? That answers #1.  #2:  here is where I ran into trouble — How to best download on an IPad or iPhone?  I want it to wind up in my photo album so that I can just insert it and there it is when they open their email.  I can do it if I screenprint the end result, but could not figure out how to get my download into my photo library.  I must be missing a simple step.  Do you know what that is?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @VivianD117  there’s a couple more steps to save your downloaded file into your camera roll on an IPad. I hope the following diagram helps explain it clearly …

So do invitations have separate download pages for each side or does the side with text only download?

And I'm still wondering about the folded greeting cards. So does a folded greeting card have four separate downloads for each page/side? Is the outside one page and the inside one download?

THANK YOU for asking this. I saw in another post that someone has sold folding cards as downloads. I have a few set for online download and also have no idea how it works either.
