I read so many articles and watched a lot of videos to try to find this answer but couldn't so just going to ask here.
So if I pin something and someone clicks on it, how long do the cookies last til a referral would still be valid. I am curious about both associate referral programs, the regular and the 2.0. I thought I had read it was just two weeks for the 2.0 but wasn't for sure. And I think the original program was longer but also not sure. So if anyone could help with this I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

It is 45 days for the 15% associates, I'll post the link here. I do not recommend the promoter program as Pins and other links are now redirected to other products. Click on a few and you will see what I mean.

Thank you so much Photocrazy. I am already in the 2.0 but notice now I get no referrals so I'm thinking about getting out of it. I have seen how they now promote other people's pins, even though we are the one taking the time to promote them, so that is annoying. So, in the 15%, if someone clicks off your product and purchases another person's product, you still get the referral fee right? But just not if you are in the 2.0?
And if you don't mind, i have one more question, so if you are in the 15% referral program, and click and share other people's products, do you still have to add your associate # on there or can you just share it from the share button on their product page?
It makes it hard that there is no way to share someone else's product easily with your referral # on it. Do you know what I mean? You have to screenshot it then later add the link to your referral code and make a unique pin instead of just sharing from their product. I have read so many articles on this and at the end of the day, it jut all confuses me.

When you are in the general referral program (the 15% referral income) your RF# will be attached to your own and other creators products when shared. If that is not the case, then there is something wrong.
