How to make use of the new magnifying glass-- if that is what it is --flyout button on the back end?

I am hoping to learn the best use for this interesting new black tool I see in the back end. When I hover over a product, one option is a Red Save button for Pinterest. The other option is a black button that might have a magnifying glass icon (But I would need a magnifying glass to see it )

When I click the black button I get a flyout with a menu of other products similar to mine. What is the best way for me to make use of this button? Am I right that this button suggests items to me in case I think I would like to post some as affiliate links to my Pinterest? Or is there something else I need to be thinking about?

I am @ArmchairTravelers at Pinterest

If you're seeing a red Pinterest icon when you hover over an image, that's usually because you have your browser set up to allow you to pin directly from any web page. I can't remember how it's done, but it's a Pinterest thing not a Zazzle thing. I'm not sure that's a good way to pin your products though as I doubt it creates a link back, and it certainly wouldn't include your affiliate code.

I have no clue what the magnifying glass is - I don't see anything like that. Maybe another sort of browser add-on?

I searched all over and didn't see anything when I hover over a product.

I am not seeing them on iPad, but I do see them on desktop....OR....I wonder if. maybe that's a Pinterest faciity, which I seeing because of Pinterest and NOT made by Zazzle. But I was not seeing these yesterday in the backend on desktop.

I'm using a desktop, but there's nothing. You may be right that it's a Pinterest thing, particularly since you're seeing the Pinterest button. Also, it's a Pinterest thing to suggest similar pins.

Yes, it is a Pinterest thing to suggest similar pins....BUT this is suggesting only similar Zazzle products, which is why I thought maybe it was a Zazzle add on!

Next time I get back to the desktop, I will pin one of those and see if my affiliate code gets attached or not. I agree pinning with these buttons is risky and usually does not allow me to edit for content either.

I have accepted your solution because I tested it out on a few products. That pinterest pinning thing that showed up out of nowhere on my new back end, does NOT use my affiliate link when posting. Plus, it's super annoying and pretty much has no use to me, so I am going to try to track down where it lives and get rid of that thing! Thanks VERY MUCH because your comment got me checking my links on a few other items and I have to change a few things with my blogging, TOO!

It looks like a part of posting something to Pinterest.  When I clicked on it, it showed a bunch of items below mine that shared similar colors that I could also pin.  If I click on the images it takes me to the page on Pinterest that the item is located at.  I wonder if it shows other similar designs incase you are wanting to pin items that share a similar theme.

I think so. I have explained above why I am going to get that handy Pinterest utility off my browser!
