Each month-long Earnings cycle is followed by 30 days of Clearance before payment of the accrued earnings can take place. After the earnings have cleared the system, they are queued for processing and are disbursed within the next 15 days.

For example: Earnings accrued in April, clear in May and are issued by the middle of June.

does the 30 days are for my royalties to be cleared not my payment right and after cleared the 1st of next month my payment is pending and then payment is cleared by 15th of the month right?

@Mohab91

say you make a sale today (and doesn't get cancelled) - that sale would be cleared and ready to be paid into your paypal July 15th ish provided you've reach the payment threshold.

Normally the first week of the month, the payment will be raised by the accounts department and if you've reached the payment threshold, it will move over to payment pending. It then reaches us by 15th ish (give or take a day)

So all sales that happen in May - will be cleared and ready to be paid to us mid July. (minus any cancellations)

The next payment cycle will be for sales that happened in March and will be paid to us mid June (ish)

thanks for the explanation, just to clarify i was putting my payments on hold until yesterday (31/5) i changed to normal before the 1st of month to get my payment for paypal but until now i have no pending payments. do i wait a couple of days to get a pending payment or now i have to wait for next month (note all my earnings are cleared)? also if i request a paypal payment for 2.5$ do i get it quicker or also middle of the month
hope you could clarify this for me

@Mohab91  I can't say for sure as I don't work for Zazzle's Payment Department.

Payments haven't been raised yet as far as my account shows it may be early next week when it goes to pending to be paid into our Paypal accounts by 15th June (ish)

I don't know how quick you would get your payment if you requested it (I don't work for zazzle and I have never requested payment) but I would be patient until middle of next week and see what happens

I too keep my account set to Hold until I reach an amount I feel is worth cashing out.
Here are the notes I saved for myself after a Mod (James H) confirmed how it works. (And it is how its been working for me.)
-------------------
for recurring automatic payments:
earnings for 1st month - (April)
will have cleared by end of 2nd month (May)
and are automatically paid out on the 15th of the 3rd month (June) if it meets the threshold amount

for on-hold cases:
earnings accrued through end of 1st month - (April)
will have cleared and must be requested* by end of 2nd month  (May)
to get a payment on the 15th of 3rd month (June)

Soo, as long as I change my account setting anytime by the end of this month (May) I'll get a payment June 15th for all my accrued sales through the end of April. Then sales dated May 1st and beyond will start accruing again until my next requested payout. Thank you, James H. Grateful to know exactly what to expect as June payment now (give or take some for the currency conversions) and quite helpful going forward as I now know when to re-start my accounting (May 1st).

*This just means switching your setting from Hold to Automatic payments, not referring to requesting a special payout for a fee.
-----------------

When I switch to Automatic to get a payout, it doesn't show as a Pending payment until closer to the 15th.

ETA:  The $50 threshold still applies so in this case you'd need to have at least $50 in earnings accrued thru end of April to get June payment.
