Iron-on clothing labels - are they vinyl or fabric or ?

The two other Oliver’s labels say they are high performance vinyl, but the iron-on labels don’t say. Anyone know?

TIA

Hey @LakeEffects,

The "Iron On" option for these labels are made of a very thin film of polyurethane, designed to be melted entirely into the weave of fabric

I have asked the team now if it is possible to add this to the product description.

Thank you!

Without even going to check, I'm sure they're fabric. Vinyl and irons aren't good buddies.

I just would like the listing to tell me what it’s made of. There’s a silicone ironing sheet included and no mention of vinyl, so you are right. But why not say it’s cotton or polyester or something. I tried checking the Oliver’s page and no help there either.

I just checked to see if maybe there was even a clue, but there isn't, other than the fact that it's for clothing and that a dry, very hot iron is used to adhere the label, which means it won't include heat-sensitive fibers.

Thanks, Mark! Not what I was imagining, but even better.

It sounds like the tagless labels manufacturers put on clothing and that sometimes show through on the outside. If that's what it is, I hope the labels include instructions that caution against using on thin, white cloth.
