Is there a way to control both colors used in a QR code?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or if this just isn't possible with Zazzle's QR code tool, but I'd really like to be able to control both the foreground and background colors of a QR code. The way it works now, you only have control over the background color - so if you choose a light background you get a black code over a colored background - or if you choose a dark background color it flips it around and gives you a white code on a dark background.
So any way you slice it you have to either have black or white as one of the colors in the code. I'd like to be able to have more control over it so I can make the code fit better with the design. Like having a dark navy blue code on a pale lavender background or a chocolate brown code on a pale peach background or something like that.
Am I just not understanding how the tool works or is this just beyond its capabilities?

@Cat Beyond zazzle's qr code current capabilities at present
I reckon it is doable if the QR Code generator was rewritten to add a foreground color option (and made sure that whatever code was generated would be contrasty enough with the background)
