every time I try to search a multi-word entry in marketplace, I get a 404 page not found error... this has been ongoing for a few months
any ideas why this would be?
I do not want to name specific searches, but they are not all related to one another, so it has nothing to do with banned topics etc
I mean, what if a customer tries to search a 3 word term and all they ever see are 404 errors?

as of 10:30am Thursday the 26th it is now working as it should (after at least a week of nothing but 404 errors)... apparently after the CS email yesterday they made some kind of fix

What browser and how are you typing your queries?
Using Firefox, I just tried a bunch of random three-word searches, even really unrelated keywords like [blue squirrel pig] and with or without quotes, not one time got a 404 page or other error. Even as many as five random words doesn't give me a 404, instead I get notice no results were found so here's results from a modified query, like this.
* And if someone wants to design a blue pillow featuring pigs, squirrels and flowers ... you'll be in a niche of 1 🤣

@ColsCreations I'm definitely going for that untapped niche...lol. I can picture the whimsical design already!

I am using either Chrome or Opera, and it's the only thing I see for multiword searches IF I am logged in to my account.
Yesterday evening I logged out of my account and tried it from both browsers, and was able to see search results.
I do not know what is going on, but something is clearly wonky.

PS I just tried "blue squirrel pig flower pillows" logged in and on Opera and get a huge whopping 404 Page Not Found
there is nowhere on the page where it identifies the search terms I used, just the error
I went to chrome where I am logged out and did the same search and saw what you saw, so it has something to do with whether or not I am logged in.
@Mark tagging in case this is a known error, pls tell me, or if it is a glitch, perhaps address it

I just tried on Chrome logged in and got normal results. I also tried on Safari not logged in, and got the same results.

Tammy,
I get that error message if I try to do a search starting from my earnings page. If I start the search from the homepage it's fine. Where are you starting your search from?

Yeah I came here to see if anyone else was having the same problem. Could explain why I'm only getting 3rd party sales lately. I just searched for "50th birthday" and got the dreaded 404 page with zero search results. If I type it again and search, results will come up. But how many customers would think to search twice? I'd be like whatever and leave the site if it was me.
