New product insight tools not showing views?

I have question about the new insight tool, which i love but there is a problem with the views not showing up. Is it not suppose to show views or not yet, because it does show orders from throughout the year but zero views on any listing I check, or does it still need to time to adjust?

my newly created products (within the last week show no views), but my older products do show views and orders. I set the date range to 365 days.

Nope, new and old products show nothing even with date range : /

hmmm .... did you try logging in and out of your account, and trying on a different browser?

Hey @TheDesignerVib1,

Can you please send on an example product with this issue and a screenshot? We will be happy to take a look.

- Mark

Okay I will send them to you.

@Mark I have sent them a few days ago, have you took a look yet? It's still not showing any view on any product

The views you are seeing in the insights are only Zazzle-related. It seems that anything that is brought in by yourself or affiliates lands in the "You brought X% of views" pot and is not shown in the charts. This may end in product statistics showing sales but no views, if 100% of them are your own or from affiliate links.

I already suggested it would be nice if we would also have some sort of statistics that shows the % of our own and third-party affiliates' links/views to get an idea.

Thank you for explaining that. That is so bizarre to me. As designers and sellers, of course we want insights on ALL views and ALL sales. Wouldn't that help us manage our shops better and make more sales, something I assume Zazzle wants too? I don't think this is a "nice to have", I think it's essential to proper management and marketing. I so appreciate you explaining this!

I am having trouble reconciling Products>Last Viewed Date with the Insights and Google Analytics (with my IP address filtered out).

Ideally, I'd like to see more information about source even when the source is me or one of my links.

An additional thing that is puzzling (and maybe this should be a separate thread???)

If I look at an example product that shows last viewed date 2 days ago and view that in Insights, I see nothing, implying all views came from "me/my links" but if I then view that in Google Analytics Pages Report, Google Analytics does not show my Associate ID in the pages report. All of the links I have shared are with the rf ID so I do not understand where these views are coming from.

thanks

@Mark can you help me to understand what I am seeing? thanks

Hi @8PawsStudio,

Someone will reach out via email to assist with this.

Hi

Just picking up on this thread because I seem to have a problem with 'View Insights' too. It has been so for about 2-3 weeks now. Before this time, I had no issues. So I see views reflecting on the 'Product page' for each product, but in 'View Insights', it basically flatlines with each product. I have and are still using the same browser namely Brave, which works off of Chrome I believe. Had no issues before since I started the shop using the same Browser. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

@BiRD make sure to drop down the date range to 365 that may make a difference?
