No Zazzle phone numbers in 2025?

Sometimes I get a customer in the message/chat asking a question that I don’t really have the know how or they ask for zazzle phone numbers, and I can’t find ithe phone numbers anywhere only the AI chat comes out when i click on Help, and then it says to fill up a form to send to zazzle, sometimes customers are in a hurry because they have already bought the item and they want to talk to someone, but with no phone numbers there’s no way to contact anyone, and their problem goes unsolved or they cancel the order.

Any thoughts on that “improvement “?

After reading your post, I went to the Zazzle Help link and see they have removed the phone number for how to contact customer support. They have replaced it with “leave a message” and provide a form to check what you wish to inquire about. They say they will get back to you in one to two days with a response. Doesn’t sound very responsive if your issue is urgent.

No phone contact? Wow. That is definitely bad if your concern is good customer service. No weekend hours was bad enough. Not a good look for the holidays either when time is always critical.

@Will - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. For a few years now, I've kept info handy with phone numbers, US and out of country, along with days, times and links to Zazzle support.

I'm going to put this link in my stores About information, and use it in replies to customers who contact me with issues.  https://www.zazzle.com/about/ask

This is the information I received at the link today, somewhat encouraging.

"Yes, Molly, if this virtual assistant cannot fully resolve a customer's issue, I can transfer them to a human agent for further assistance.

Our human chat agents are generally available from 3 AM to 5 PM PT. If you need assistance outside of these hours, you can chat with our virtual assistant, Zee, 24 hours a day. Our team responds to messages within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays."

I've hit this problem within the past few days while trying to simply change my email address where the correct one is vital. A couple of the sites relied on AI responses, apparently believing this can reduce their workload. It will because customers will walk away in favor of alternatives. Those that did well responded to either phone calls or live chat. Perhaps Zazzle needs to rethink what they've done. (Have you encountered "Rufus" on Amazon? If so, then you know how bad AI can be at responding to customers.)

The AI responses are rarely good enough. I can't think of an instance in the past year that I didn't have to go through all the nonsense just to finally chat with a person. Which really sucks because then your level of irritation is much higher. Have companies completely given up on focus groups? My inner Marketing Exec is cringing right now.

I did ask chatGPT if the help at zazzle is an AI and it said no it is a chatbot not an AI so there’s no more customer service in Zazzle I mean humans, and with thousands of forms been filled up daily by customers or zazzlers I can’t see it been a one or two days response time.

There's something amusing about asking AI if something else is AI. ChatGPT isn't the most reliable source, though in this case, it's likely correct.
