Hello! There are different types of order cancellations. At the beginning, I thought there was no way to differentiate them since you actually cannot see the final customization of the customer, how the shipping process went, and how the item arrived to the client, and so on. Normally, when I have a cancellation, the royalty square turns red, and that’s the only thing I have realized from the past years. However, just recently, I apparently received a different type of order cancellation. As I mentioned before, the only change in my royalty earnings dashboard was the change in the color of the royalty square, but in this cancellation, the original purchase remains as it is, and just below the order, a new line appears. Instead of the name of the client, the word "cancellation" appears. This makes me think that this is a new type of cancellation, I think this is the real customer's cancellation before receiving the product, while the other ones are cancellations from other sources and reasons. I may be wrong, but this conclusion astonished me because then the number of cancellations that happen because of shipping problems, copyright infringement, product quality and final results, fraudulent payments, and more is king. So, this post is to invite everyone on the community to share your cancellation experience, commend your thoughts, maybe we can learn more about it and how to handle them.

Interesting. I don't seem to be seeing that yet. And I have a couple small orders that I know were cancelled before shipping (3 different product types, so I know it's not cancelled by Zazzle).

I have had some of those in the past, but I have not been able to reach any conclusion. Usually, the name and the place disappear and are replaced by cancellation, but I have never connected it with what you say. Well, I do not know, but when they cancel due to an error and buy again 10 minutes later, no cancellation appears.
More transparency has been requested regarding returns, cancellations, or whatever we want to call them, but so far we have not received any response.

Most of my cancellations (and I’ve only had a few) are followed within a day or two by a reorder from the same customer. I typically assume that they made a typo in completing the templates.
