Payment system

Hello fellow creators! I have accumulated over $400 in royalties, overall, but not in one month. Zazzle states that if a designer does not make more than $100 in any month then they will not issue a check unless we agree to pay a $5 fee, which I completely understand. However, how do I get paid the money I have accumulated (the $400 + amount)? It appears that Zazzle just hangs onto this instead of paying the royalties owed to their designers. I would like to be paid for what I have earned. Help!

Thank you

Pamela

You get paid once you've accumulated at least $100 in cleared earnings, it doesn't have to be that amount monthly. They just don't want to write checks for small amounts... If you have more than $100 in your "cleared" earnings and still haven't received a check, then there is a different problem. If those earnings have just recently cleared it may just be a little too early - checks for July's earnings haven't been sent out yet. If you are due to receive one you should see a 1 in the "debits" column. If the earnings cleared before July, you may want to check your payment and account settings and make sure there isn't a problem.

How/when you get paid by Zazzle depends on what you've chosen in your Payment Settings.

The User Agreement, Section 23, describes how pay outs work. It sounds like you are probably set on Hold. I have mine set to Hold so my earnings just accumulate on Z until I reach an amount I feel like cashing-out on. Then I switch my setting to Normal and get paid the next month. Then I switch it back to Hold to let my balance start growing again.

Here's how the timing of payouts work, confirmed for me by a Mod back in 2021.

If you want to be paid via Paypal instead of by check, the threshold is only $50 instead of $100. From what I understand the Processing Fee ($2.50 or $5.00) only applies if you want to collect for an amount under the threshold.
I've never done the Normal/Recurring option so not positive how that works but it seems to me like the threshold amount is a cumulative amount and once you reach it you'll automatically be paid, that it doesn't have to be earned all in one same month. So you could earn $75 one month and $25 the next and then you've met the threshold and will be automatically paid the $100 the next month. The people who are set to Normal/recurring automatic payments can advise you better, but the fact that you're sitting on over $400 in accumulated earnings, that leads me to think you have your settings set to Hold.

Congrats on all your sales!

Thank you! I do have my settings on hold. A few years ago I did not have settings on hold and requested payment but it was a lot less than my earnings, so that's why I was confused. I will take off Hold and hopefully receive a payment for the correct amount.

Will payment be made in Nepal by cheque or not?
