Personal information delays payment

Just today, after having the same personal account information for 10-1/2 years, I had a notification that I wouldn't receive my royalties this month because my information was incomplete. The only reason I quickly found the focus was that I noticed a few months ago that I'd never put in my area code for my phone number. So I've corrected it, but to hold up payment because of an area code for a phone number that no one at Zazzle would ever use? And to notify me pretty much the day I was expecting to see my earnings? Why now? Why not 10-1/2 years ago?

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, did it affect just one month or did it drag on through several months?

I'm guessing it's a bug in the system - I got the message then refreshed the screen and it went away. I seem to remember that this happened a few years ago too. We all freaked out but it was a false alarm then, so I'm assuming it's a false alarm this time too.

Yesterday I had a notification saying I should "verify my account".
My guess is that they are chasing after more personal information like a phone number and such.
As we are already dealing with an obrigatory chat situation.

There is another thread ongoing about the “Verify Account” message appearing in people’s notifications. Scott chimed in to say it’s a legit notification from Zazzle. But before I trust that, I asked him to clarify the purpose of that notification. I’m still waiting for him to respond.

Yes, I'm questioning the purpose of it, too. In the other thread, I reported that I just received a welcome-to-Zazzle email for having created an account. All I did was correct my #@%!# phone number. (Old lady is beginning to swear like a longshoreman.)

Hmmm... very interesting. I haven't gotten the verify account thing - at least I don't think I have. If it just shows up under notifications I'll never see it because those are just too overwhelming for me to paw through them all. The orange message on the account page hasn't come back for me, so I guess we'll see...

It's too late for me. I corrected the phone number, and changes cause at least a month's delay in payment. It's common for people to drop their landline, going completely cellular, and are then penalized for the change. We'll see.

in July this happened to me. Contacted Zazzle immediately they said it was corrected, but too late to receive payment for that month. I received August payment with July's missed payment, then received September payment ... no problem. Now this month same error with no explanation as to why. All details in my payment profile are correct. I've been receiving earnings to the same paypal account for years, but all of a sudden this payment error happens randomly. Waiting on a response from the payment department and fingers crossed they can correct it to still submit payment by the 15th, but holding my breath as last time it wasn't possible.
