When you post your own designs to pinterest, am I correct in thinking you just make the design profit and no affiliate profit?
The only place I've been posting has been pinterest and insights told me I drove the sales. I'm assuming the 3rd party that sold them is pinterest but I never get a referral fee. I use the share then pinterest button to pin.
Am I right about this?

If you go through a certain number of machinations with the link to which the pin directs the viewer, you can determine whether your associate ID has remained attached to your pins. If so, you stand some chance of getting referral income. If not, you stand no chance.
Here's what I have cookin' over at Pinterest lately

If the 3rd party were your Pinterest pin, then it would say "self" and not 3rd party. 3rd party always means that someone else's efforts drove the customer to that sale be it Zazzle advertising channels or another affiliate. You can add tracking codes to your Pinterest pins links if you create the pin yourself and not pin directly from Zazzle. I'm not sure how to do that as I always used the Nifty tool in the past (external tool created by another Zazzle designer) to get my tracking added automatically.
