Product type in RSS feed?

We have the Zazzle RSS feed going into our custom website and we have filters you can apply in the website to narrow it down by product type.  However about two weeks ago the product department disappeared from the XML in the RSS feed?  Will that return?  How else should we perform that filtering otherwise?  Thanks!

No, the problem here is that we were using the product department field to make a list of product types that were available in our store.  There's no programmatic way to pull the list of product types available from Zazzle (and we don't have products made for every type either).

I didn’t wait and started reorganizing everything into my own categories, the way I use them for my products. Of course, don’t ask how many hours this has taken so far — or will still take. Let’s see what happens next.

It feels as if embedding products on our own websites is no longer really encouraged, or at least no longer seen as something worth supporting.
