Searching Plural & Singular

I've noticed that when searching for terms like "snowflakes," results for products with just one "snowflake" are not included. The same happens in reverse. Is this normal? I think it would be helpful if the search engine were more flexible in searching variations of the same word, like singular and plural. This would allow for a wider variety of products to be found and would make searching easier for all users.

Granted, this is some years ago, but it was questioned then, and Zazzle said there was no need to add the plural version of a tag. For instance, "flower" would bring up "flowers." I guess we'd better include both versions from now on.

I'm not seeing that happen? I tried a few different searches.
[wind chime] vs [wind chimes] with and without a keyword because it's a product type Zazzle does not include the s on.
[sunflower pillow] vs [sunflowers pillow]
[snowflake pillow] vs [snowflakes pillow]
In each case, I got the exact same number of results and comparing the results on pages 1 and 15 they were the same.

Looking at individual results, products titled and tagged only as [singular] were in the results for [plurals] and vice versa.

Thank you for checking it out. I was wondering why Zazzle would change the policy. It seems they didn't.
