Supposed choppy t-shirt video?

I'm freshly back from looking at some of the t-shirts, and when I clicked on a video, there was an overlay at the top saying, "We noticed this RealView video might be choppy for you. This may be due to your device's capabilities or browser (Chrome is recommended)"

Using Firefox, I noticed no choppiness. Anyone else seeing it? Also, why Chrome? Is this now the premier browser?

I use Firefox and have a pretty decent internet connection but get that message every time I look at one of the T vids (which isn't often). Like you, the vids seem fine to me so I don't know what I am missing.

I use Firefox and watched at least 4 of the T-shirt videos, and didn't get that message.

I have it on safari for iPad, and I also have a very good internet connection, so, it may be due to my iPad capabilities. (Even though I rarely have problems with other videos… )

Generally speaking, as an internet user, I hate the sites that claim to be optimized only for Chrome. I never used chrome, it doesn’t have a good reputation for the security aspects. (It could have changed in the later versions, but I am stuck on my first impressions years ago…)  And if you develop for the web you have to take the main browsers into consideration.
If I was a customer and saw this kind of message on a web site, I  would surely leave and go on another site to find the products I want and to purchase.

Chrome still doesn't have good security. Google gets its biggest profits from selling our data.

From discussions I've seen on Reddit, it seems like Google and Microsoft have a lot of clout with website developers, and get them to optimize their websites only for those browsers, to sort of "persecute" Firefox because that's the only truly independent browser (of the major browsers). Even Brave and Opera are Chrome-based.
