Just out of curiosity… 🙈
I took an early retirement this school year, so I have PLENTY of time to design and add products. Right now, I have a huge backlog of designs to add to my shop. My grandkids are gone on a photo shoot today, so I’ve already created 40 products or so this morning.
Is there a limit to how many products I can add in a day before Zazzle thinks I’m using a bot or something? 🥴

Oh, good! I’m getting into a routine, so everything goes pretty fast now. Then I started to worry because every POD has their own quirks and some are quick to toss you to the curb! 😬
Thank you! 😘

No limit per day, but there is a limit of total products per account across your shop/s. Used to be 100,000, I believe it still is. For example, Unless something has changed, In your account, if you have 10 shops, the combined total of products in all 10 shops is limited to 100,000 products.

Thanks! I’m afraid I’m going to top out in a few years at the rate I’m going. 🙈
I’ve been hesitant about creating collections because I know they’re limited to 1,000.

When I went to your kitchen-oriented store, I immediately noticed your design for a stand mixer and just as immediately noticed it was a KitchenAid. No other mixer looks the same. I checked closely to make sure the brand wasn't showing and that you didn't include the brand in your tags, but the question now is whether or not when someone buys a product with this design, will it be noticed by the last check that occurs just prior to printing. I know there have been problems for people who've done the same thing with John Deere tractors, so you might look into this before you go much further.

Wait! What?!? 😳
Dang! Dang! Dang! I searched FOREVER for just the right stand mixer for my logo! It didn’t have any KitchenAid logos or anything and my mind just saw a dadgum cute “stand mixer.” I knew Cuisinart and other companies have stand mixers, so I didn’t pay much attention to the actual style of the watercolor itself. How did I not see why I thought this one looked so great?!? 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks you! Thank you! Thank you! 😘
*adds ANOTHER project to my endless list*

I'm sorry I was the bearer of bad news, but after watching what's happened to other people here, you can be happy it was spotted fairly early. What a shame, though. It's a sweet representation of the mixer.

Oh, honey! Trust me! I really appreciate it! 😘
I’m OG with POD… been around since 2006 with no issues because I’m a scaredy cat to push limits, so I’m really shocked this one floated past me! I’m just thrilled you spotted it!
I’m skittish because I saw what happened to a lot of my friends who went through hell and back when Dirty Dancing’s big anniversary hit and the studio tormented them until after it was done! No way do I want to experience something like that! 😳

People have had designs with BBQ stands removed, Gaming consoles, all sorts of things that have a shape specific to a brand, none of them are allowed. I recently had something removed because a 'blood splatter' was believed by the content team to be 'brand related'. I demonstrated it wasn't the case, design was reinstated but the error (not mine) still resulted in me losing close to $60 as I never got back the canceled fees.

Whuuutttt?!? 😳
I can see gaming consoles… same issue as my mixer… easily recognizable…
But BBQ stands?!? That’s an American icon!
And I can’t believe you didn’t get paid if you were able to prove it wasn’t brand related! 😲

Indeed, you will definitely get nailed for that mixer. I've never used a KitchenAid mixer shape, but had mixers that look nothing like KitchenAid get nailed, and had to fight those; actually called KitchenAid legal to tell them off at one point, I was really ticked off, but since then I haven't had a problem. Coincidence, who knows?

Thanks for saving my fluffy butt, y’all! 😘
I try to be so careful about copyright, but went back and looked and most of the watercolor mixers I see look like a KitchenAid now that y’all have pointed that out! How the flip did that escape me?!? 🤦🏻♀️
I played it safe and yanked the 3 products and changed my logo to a cute cupcake instead! 😁
And sorry to hear that @chefcateringbiz. That sucks… especially if they didn’t look like one. 😕
Glad you didn’t have any more problems with them though!

Don't forget VW bugs and buses.
and never say "police lives matter" anymore or ______ lives matter. Unless it is black it is not permitted and got 80 of my best sellers that I created several years prior yanked. No telling what that has cost me.

Sometimes it isn't the image itself that causes the problem; rather, it's in the text we use. A fine example of this is an image I created that reminded me of Dali's dripping-clocks painting, and so in the keywords, I used something similar to "in the style of Dali." Responding to the take-down notice, I discovered it was my text, not the image. I re-published my product without mention of Dali, and all has been well since.
However, and as I said previously, when it's the image itself, it often isn't spotted until a customer attempts to buy it. At that point, Zazzle people inspect the image. I've had this happen with text as images on mugs, text that stated various things that happened in a person's birth year. Every fourth mug mentioned the Olympics (a no-no) or perhaps a musician such as Elvis or the introduction of a popular toy. Whenever a customer chose one of these mugs to purchase, their purchase was cancelled and my mug disappeared until I corrected the image.
We're not allowed to make money off anyone else's copyrighted or trademarked item. What we're doing here on Zazzle doesn't enter the realm of the Fair Use Doctrine. Unfortunately.
