Using Keywords Across Multiple POD Sites

Hi Guys. : ) I could use some advice on using keywords for selling the same products on multiple print on demand sites. I believe you should vary the keywords on the same product (have different titles, descriptions, and tags for each different pod site) ?? This seems pretty difficult to me but not impossible. Any thoughts are very appreciated. Thanks!

IMO, keywords and tags are selected to have your product show in results when a customer does a search for a design like yours. They would be the same on all PODs.

Varying titles and descriptions, however, prevents you from being dinged in Google searches for duplicate content. The title should contain a keyword, and a keyword should be in the beginning of the description.

All that said, I admit that all of our titles and descriptions for each design are identical as we originally wrote them. I don't know when we will get around to fixing them. If necessary, we will use an online thesaurus, and vary description by considering why customers will want the design on a mug or a t-shirt or duvet cover.

Use keywords and descriptions/titles that best describe your design and don't worry if it's a duplicate on other POD sites because product pages differ across POD sites so google won't see your tags and titles as duplicate content.

I continue to research this and wanted to add that it seems to me if you do use the exact same titles (same word order and keywords) for different products on Zazzle, by Zazzle adding the product type to the end, this makes each title unique enough for both Zazzle search and Google search. Some of the top sellers are doing this. : ) However, I may try to vary my titles a bit just in case.
