where to get html code for forums?

on the products where a curved arrow symbol has replaced the prior share button, there is no option for the full html code needed for posting a product to the forums - only the html code for a link. So where do we get the necessary code that includes the product image src, preferred view, name of product, store name, preview size, etc.?

I hope this will be fixed. Use the share link on the backend product page (where you can manage your products) in the meantime, that one still works the old way and you can both copy the HTML and the BB Code.

Option still available in the back end of your store through the link icon though it only gives the one view here.

People keep mentioning they wish this would be "fixed" and that they believe it will be "fixed" and that there are temporary measures we can use until it gets "fixed".  But, I have not seen anyone directly requesting that we have access to HTML code generator restored on the product page. I do not know which part of this forum should be used to make a direct request for the restoration of this extremely helpful and necessary feature.

Maybe others will make an official request.

I think I learned  (in chat) from a moderator that the removal of the HTML was  intentional and will never be "fixed" because it is not broken. (That's how I interpreted the message anyway). However, the mod very helpfully did offer to pass my concerns along to the team.

Sometimes I wish more information would be provided as to why big changes have been made.  I continue to be thankful for those who run this very complicated site and who work hard to keep it current with tech world developments.
