I received an email from service@paypal.com with the following mesage: The billing agreement that allowed Zazzle Inc. to make the payment for your booking has been cancelled.
Manage your Billing Agreement by logging into your PayPal account and clicking the Billing Agreement link under your Profile. In your Profile, you can choose and edit your preferred funding source and cancel your Billing Agreement.
I didn't cancel it and under settings for my account I still show PayPal as my preferred payment.
Has anyone else received such message?

It could be spam. I occasionally get such an email, but when I log onto PayPal, all is well. I also get emails saying that I have purchased something from Amazon that cost over 1,000. But when I log onto Amazon and PayPal, there is no such purchase. Just make sure not to reply to such an email or to click on the link. PayPal is pretty easy to contact, Amazon, not so much

Thank you! I also thought so. I didn't respond to the email, but hope, I didn't cause any security problems just by opening the email.

It's easy to spoof the address so that while it LOOKS like Paypal sent you something, it was not from Paypal at all. I delete anything like that immediately and then log in through my usual route just to verify nothing has been going on at the site in question.
I am not sure why Zazzle would "make a payment for your booking" in the first place. Also, booking is a less used term in the country you and I live in. Probably more often used in Nigeria. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y4C4v0A6U7U

I'm paranoid so what I do in response may be extreme but here goes:
1)Receive email that is seemingly from Paypal saying this or that is cancelled or from Amazon or Apple saying a very large purchase has been made.
2)I delete the email, empty my email trash, reboot my computer and run a cleaning program (this is the part that may be overkill but anyway....)
3)Open my Paypal/Apple/Amazon account to verify that everything is how I left it. So far it is.
For the record, when a company thinks your account has been tampered with they simply lock your account and you have to contact them to verify your identity and get it unlocked. When my credit card was stolen and used to try to buy stuff from Apple, both my Apple account and my credit card account were locked in response unbeknownst to me until I tried to use them. The red flag was that I had gift card money in my Apple account so why would I type in a credit card number? They don't send emails. They don't make phone calls. They just lock it up and wait for you to contact them.

Often times when changes are made to a PayPal account or a billing agreement on a PayPal account, an email is issued out to the account holder's email address on file. In situations where you're unsure of whether an email was from PayPal or not, you can forward it to Spoof@PayPal.com to have the PayPal fraud team look over it and confirm whether it was from PayPal or not.

Yesterday, I got an email from PayPal double-checking that I had changed my phone number. (I didn't.) The email was one of the best official looking ones I have seen. I went directly to PayPal & everything in my account was unchanged. I changed my password, anyways.

Many thanks for reaching out! I just wanted to provide some clarity on this. Sometimes, when you take an action on your account such as cancelling a Zazzle Black Free Trial/Paid Membership (where PayPal was the payment method used on signing up), or remove PayPal as a saved payment method from your Zazzle account, PayPal will send these emails as confirmation that the 'Billing Agreement' (such as Zazzle Black recurring payments) have been cancelled.
Of course if you do not feel comfortable replying, please do not feel obliged to do so. And as always, do not hesitate to flag any Zazzle related emails that might seem suspicious to you.
