It's clear from these forums that everyone is investing a lot of time to make great graphics and videos to enhance their product pages and collections and improve the interest and look of the site overall.
Zazzle team, how about a little reward for those who are making an effort. Here's what I was thinking ...
On our product pages currently right below the product you just see "Other designs you might like" - and below that comes the collection - including a video if one is included. For example, as shown below on products in that are part of my BBQ collection: Example
How about swapping the order of those and putting the collection up top if the seller makes the effort to include a video? Or just putting these beautiful collections up higher, regardless?
The moving images are more eye catching just below the product than simply another static row of products.
Doing this would certainly incentivize us to make more use of videos on our most important collections... and I think would also make the post pages more attractive!

Great idea and also please reward those who drive a lot of traffic to Zazzle by having NO other sellers featured on their product pages 😀

In my opinion, the "Moving videos" should only be active when the VIEWER chooses to see them. I tend to leave a page ASAP when there is motion flashing anywhere on the page.

No, this is NOT a good idea! Zazzle already favors collections and products with cover photos and videos over those that don't have them! Many of us don't have the capability or the time to do videos, and we should not be penalized for that. (And the one video I did, Zazzle won't even let me upload it!) And videos certainly DO NOT make the pages more attractive! They are distracting and annoying. If your collections are so important and you have nothing better to do with your time, that should be incentive enough.
A while back I made a post of reasons why skewing the marketplace toward videos is a bad idea.

@SwissVillage Thanks for bringing this up, I was just coming over to the forum to post about it. I think it's even worse. None of my collections have seen ANY improvement in visibility, all went down-hill, despite all efforts. And what you show about how your collection looks is actually amazing compared to what I have seen so far: the same tiny images as before this whole thing started (and indeed at the bottom of the page). I agree with @Connie however, that videos are not so much an improvement and more of yet another downgrade.
@MasterpieceCafe Thanks for pointing that out! Luckily I had not seen that yet, as it gives me a heart attack! It is next to impossible to find a collection!
No wonder customers are sending chat messages with questions about whether you have a certain product with that design as well.
So it looks like this was a big time deceiving move from Zazzle. ( trying to stay polite here)

I don't do videos for my collections, and I agree with Connie that they don't make the pages more attractive (that's personal opinion, I guess) but I do think that swapping the order as suggested at top would be very helpful. I have even wondered why they were in the order they are myself. As it is now, the customer would have to scroll way down to even see the collection. Many probably don't. Videos or not, I like the idea of swapping.
