I spent an inordinate amount of time creating collections and sorting product into the (I hope) correct collection. Don't really have a feel for whether the whole Collection thing is helping sales or no, although my sales have definitely been better the past year or so. Some of that may be that I'm actually paying attention to the stores again, better SEO, etc., or the Collections... Anyway, I am sure that I have missed the odd product when sorting, and I'm looking for a relatively simple way to find the stray item that needs to be "collectionized." How is everyone else doing this, or am I missing something glaringly obvious??
Thanks!

Easiest I know is to view your store front and look for a blue hamburger that's ticked (top right of product)
If it's in a collection it will be blue - if it's not in a collection - you'll not see it unless you hover and you'll see it's grey with a plus sign - you can add it to a collection from the store front.
I've not found a way to find "uncollectionized" products in the back end yet

Cool. I had never thought to take that approach! I just tried it and found about ten products on the first few pages on my listings. I will do some more another day. It's nice to have a method for finding products not already placed in collections. In my case, the hamburger is not grayed out. It's just missing, so the non-collected products are easy to find.
I also do Postcrossing!

@Windy Hover over the image and it should appear on your store front (the artwork pops up). Although I suppose it depends what os/browser you're using (works on windows desktop/firefox/chrome/opera/vivaldi) Not tested on mobile

Well, that's better than opening each one to see if it's in a collection. Thanks!

This is weird. I've looked everywhere--in the back-end management and on single product pages--checking those products I know for a fact are in collections and have been for a long time. All I see is the heart and the share symbols anywhere I look. Is there something I should have turned on?

I finally picked up on the mention of using our storefront, which I did, and I was able to see the check-marked hamburger, but it can be a problem if it's on a blue background, in which case, there's no way the entire thing be seen. Of course, how many blue backgrounds can a person even use?
It would be so much better, though, if we could easily spot the collection attribute in the back end where we do all our work.
