Design space image doesn't match preview

Ok, so here I am again, wondering about something weird, and thinking it's just me. (I've actually asked this before, but can't find where it went, and don't think anyone even answered anyway.)

So. Someone just bought a whole bunch of tote bags with this heart image. (Thank you thank you thank you.) So I go look at it, just to remember how I made the design, remembering it was a kind of complicated cropped and "grouped" image. So here's what it looks like now in the design space - totally cray cray. But the Preview, and "for Sale" image obviously looks right. When I first designed it, it looked fine, obviously, or I wouldn't have published it. but now it's showing like this.

I'm praying it prints ok. I can't afford to buy one of everything I make that's complicated like this to test it. Fingers crossed. Does anyone have any reassuring words, please? (And no, not everything I make is this complicated.)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Very strange. If you ungroup the images, there are two images. If you rotate one image 45 degrees and rotate the other image -45 degrees and overlap the two images, it makes a heart shape again—but then it’s missing the top piece. Was the original image posted as three pieces? You could fix it in photoshop or illustrator, if you have them, and repost it as a single image .png or .jpg, but then you’d lose the views, sales, and rankings.

I don't understand how that happens. I searched for this product and found it and I too see it that odd way inside of the design tool. I have also found your original post and at-mentioned you there so you can find that.

I also do Postcrossing!

Thanks. I appreciate you taking a look.

Here's the image I started with. A watercolor painting. It wasn't symmetrical enough for my taste, so I reworked it.

I don't have PS right now (long boring story), which is why I used the Z crop, rotate, group, etc tools to make it look the way I wanted it to.

So after all the fiddling, this is how it looks on a sticker, in the design space. No problems. And on a mug.

Other products are OK too. I haven't looked at every single thing. I dunno. Its so weird!

Just an update. The royalty cleared for the tote bags that were bought with this design, so they must have printed ok. ***PHEW!*** (wiping brow) Thank you Zazzle printing gods.
