I have designed on Z for quite awhile, but have always been intimidated by wedding invitations. So, I finally got over it and am beginning to dip my toe in the lucrative wedding market. So, now I'm really excited about the new foil invitations, however, I'm a little confused. The first layer is what elements I want to show in gold foil correct? If I want everything including the text to be foil, I should add them all to the foil layer? The other layers would be blank other than the back layer? Thank you in advance for your assistance. I apologize if this is a dumb question. I would just hate to put something on the marketplace and have an unhappy bride.
I searched the marketplace and found this gorgeous invitation as an example. If it's yours, congratulations you have a beautiful product and I have no intention of copying, it came up in one of my searches of the marketplace. Thanks again.

That's correct. I think of it like the front of the card gets printed twice. The first time is for the ink printing - that's what's on the "front" design area. Then the foil gets pressed on top - that's what's in the "foil" design area. If you don't want any ink printing, just foil, then leave the "front" design area blank.
