Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V does not seem to work between products. It was possible in the old design tool and I used this feature all the time, is it not possible in the new design tool? Please bring the old one back while this one is being sorted out
Even in the previous tool, sometimes it wouldn't allow you if it was blank or empty, so my trick was to put something, any image or shape, then normally it lets you paste it. You delete what you put and ready! I hope it works for you.
