Is there a tutorial for the new design tools

Due to health reasons, I've been away from creating for several months.  Now I not only had trouble finding my saved designs I have no idea how to find the design tools I used -- i.e. tiling.

I searched for a tutorial but have not have one.  It would really help to show visuals of what/where/how for these new tools. 

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

I can’t help you for the tutorial, but for the tiling tool I can: 

Select the design to put in tiles in the editor

Click on the little arrow at the end of the top bar to display the buttons not visible at first. (Red circle below)

The button « Effects » becomes visible. Click on it, It displays the tiling tool in the left panel as on the picture below:
