Hello! I am new to Zazzle and have some questions. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. 🙂
#1 - I have already uploaded a design but I would like to add another image which would be a mock-up to the already existing images Zazzle has provided. How do I do that?
#2 - Most other POD sights have image size requirement breakdowns for all the products. What is the best size to create an image for print regardless of whether it's for a mug all the way to say a shower curtain? For example, I never know whether to start for a wall print in Canva at 11 x 14 or 5,000 x 5,000 px?
#3 - Does Zazzle change the image from RGB to CMYK? Should it be CMYK to begin with? If I change it in Photoshop then I can't save it as a PNG to upload on Zazzle. Do I need to worry about this? 😞
If anyone can help me with some answers that would be fantastic!
THANK YOU!

1) Zazzle is currently in the process of A/B testing designer uploaded mockups. This means that some designers (chosen at random) are able to do it and others are not. They may do another group at random or they may not. If it seems like a good idea and it's working out for Zazzle, they'll let all designers do it. Zazzle tests out new ideas cautiously this way. They have a test group and control group to see if the new idea helps, hurts or has no effect. Long story short, you can't upload your own mockups currently but if Zazzle sees positive effects from designer uploaded mockups, you'll likely be able to at some future point.
2)There is no image size that will work for all product types. Instead of pixel dimensions, Zazzle gives dimensions in inches on the product page. If what you have uploaded is too small, it will tell you (there will be a yellow warning flag).
3)Upload all your images in RGB. That's what Zazzle prefers.

Hi Keegan's Creations!
Thank you so much for the reply. I really hope that they will let us add mock-ups. I actually found a similar product store on Zazzle like mine that actually had them. This is what encouraged me to find out how to do that. I guess it was a random shop they let do that?
Well, thanks again I really appreciate the information and how fast you answered!
Have a great rest of your day!
That really clears things up for me!!! 🙂

For the best color accuracy, I generally create the design in CMYK and switch to RGB color mode to export the design. I use Adobe Illustrator most of the time. That way the customer sees colors close to those that will be printed. There are of course other variables such as: the customer's color adjustments for their screen and for mine. Since the RGB color field is larger, it includes almost all of the CMYK color field. The RGB on the screen will be very close to what I designed and it will be close to the CMYK printed. I have read there are new printing methods and this doesn't necessarily matter anymore, but I do it anyhow. I have never had a complaint from a customer about colors on the product not matching what they ordered. In fact, just the opposite. I would say Zazzle is mostly responsible for the colors matching the screen presentation.

Hi Rodney, thanks so much for the information. Wasn't sure if that mattered or not. Good to know that Zazzle on top of being accurate with colors. That would be embarrassing to have something produced that was way off the mark! Thanks again!!!
