I have one leaving for college in just two days. i totally get how you feel, it is SO hard. I've had random outbursts of tears all week. So happy and excited for her yet terrified at the same time lol. I put SO much of myself into her and I am not going to know what to do with myself either when she's gone.

It is so hard! Mine left a few months ago and I am not coping at all. This really is the only thing keeping me going. I even went so far as to buy myself a weird headset thing that allegedly cures depression (flow neuroscience headset approved by the NHS). I'll let you know if it works!!! I hope you are able to adjust and get to see her lots via video link if not in person. I do see mine quite often, but the days between are just hard. As you say when we are all about them ... then what do we do with ourselves? I've been doing lego .... that's what I've been doing in my spare time. lol

Legos are something she loves. She's packing hers to take with her. Yes let me know if it works, I need something to help lol. My son is about to turn 15 and he has autism. He's been my baby and attached to me since birth. I put everything I have into him too. He's hit puberty though and has no time for mom now. He's about his computer and his friends. I almost have to beg him to spend time with me lol. I just throw myself into work to cope and get by.
