Anyone Still Adjusting

I just had to ask this question. Is anyone other than me having trouble adjusting to using the HTML code instead of the old BBCODE. I keep putting in the wrong code and ending up with the code in the view. I will admit that I had the opposite problem on the old forum. Always adding the wrong code. What is BBCODE for anyway?  I thought it was just to be able to post on the Zazzle forum. If that's the case, it would be nice if there was only the HTML code. That would clear up my problem with using the wrong copy.

Once I learned how to do it, it's not a problem. (Then again, those are always my 'famous last words! lol)

I did not know either, but I searched to find that BBCode is a lightweight markup language used to format messages in much Internet forum software, so for those who want to promote their work on forums, that BBCode would be useful.

An interesting juxtaposition

I have this trouble too, I was doing ok for a while...but then I took a break from the forums for a tiny bit...so last time I posted in the "show me" I kept having to go back and fix the code in my posts XD i will probably get used to it eventually, lol

When the code shows in the post, you have entered the HTML in the "text" section. Erase it and click on the 3 dots (...) then the [HTML] and the HTML screen will open where you paste the code. It took me several times of doing seeing the code before I was able to catch myself and paste in the correct area.

"what is BBcode for anyway?"

All about BBcode  https://www.bbcode.org/   Sounds like it might be outdated and hence why this new forum doesn't use it anymore.  🤔

I've gotten used to HTML, but it sure would be easier if there weren't two extra clicks required, the first being that you have to expand the menu before you can find HTML to choose it, and then once you've inserted the code in the box and click the button to insert it, you have to click a second time to get past the error message. I'm sure Scott is aware of the error message and it'll be fixed in the future, but it would be nice if "HTML" were included with the immediately visible tools.
