This error comes up when trying to pin from Zazzle share and I have no idea how to fix it.

Same on uk pinterest (sharing via the back end)

Could be a pinterest thing or a zazzle thing

I tested creating a pin from scratch and when I tried to tag a zazzle product "something went wrong"

Perhaps pinterest is having a wobble

It's also happening at other PODs. Everything was fine last night.

This may be an issue on Pinterest's end. People on other websites are seeing the same issues. I'll keep an eye out.

Didn't this come up before back in March, and was "fixed" on the Zazzle side, not Pinterest I believe.

I can still manually create Pins on Pinterest... but can't use the share to Pinterest option here... I get the same error.

Same. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I am even having problems trying to manually pin through a scheduling app. So I think this may be on Pinterest's side.

Same message here too... sigh. I hope it gets fixed. I thought it was my end but I guess not...

I actually get problems when I try to post manually to link to my own website on Pinterest. Views are either not there or they are not registered. As soon as I change the link to Zazzle, I get some views. Also the image I download from Zazzle gets really blurry.  (sorry, slightly off-topic, but maybe indicating the problem is on Pinterest's end)

Well, this changes everything! Big Red Banner - You don't have permission to create content for this domain. To use this domain, you must first verify domain ownership in your business settings. I have 6 tabs open trying to find a work around and it's beyond me. Recently I got an email from Pinterest asking me if I needed my old Pinterest business account or would I like to delete it? I chose to delete it, I don't know if these 2 things are linked or not?

I recently got this email too. I have several Pinterest business accounts, but I only got the message regarding one account. I don't know. I converted it to a personal account.

So I just created a new product, went to pin it to Pinterest straight away, but got an error message instead which is virtually a demand to verify my Pinterest account. When I looked into doing this, it's only letting you verify your account if you have a .com and your own website domain. Well I don't have one anymore (the annual fees were too much for me to keep up with), so I let it go. Is there no way around this without having set up an entire website again (which I have no interest in doing again so whatsoever)? Apparently they will not accept a verification link to just your Zazzle store, you have to have your own domain. So, I guess this means you can no longer pin anything from Zazzle without your own .com domain? Has anyone found a way around this? TIA.

Mmm nope I am hoping it is just a glitch...? I did notice you can connect to your instagram account which I have now done, but with instagram you can't add you direct links. My domain is on a redirect to my store on Zazzle and doesn't work either with pinterest...

Pinterest recently made changes that affect how creators link to their storefront especially those of us using platforms like Zazzle. Like you I got the popup that I had to verify my store.  Pinterest now requires business accounts to claim their website.  You can’t claim your Zazzle store, so you have to add your website domain from your blog like wordpress / blogger . So now I am back to a personal account at Pin you can make the switch in settings you won't lose your boards, just your business account.

Hi, there's a thread on this subject in Technical Issues...you may want to add your comment there because if Pinterest has made changes then for those who rely on Pinterest and the share button (35 - 50% referral fees) then these potential fees perhaps become redundant. I can upload a manual pin but am experiencing the same issues with Pinterest as others when using the share option on Zazzle. I don't think the referral fees are the same with a manual pin when manually adding your own ambassador code but I could be wrong. Hopefully it's just a glitch but if Pinterest's terms of use have changed then what does this mean for the 'share' option on Zazzle?

Well this changes everything! Big Red Banner - You don't have permission to create content for this domain. To use this domain, you must first verify domain ownership in your business settings.

I was able to work around the glitch by:

1.Create a manual pin (don't put link in it yet)

2. Save the pin

3. Go back in to edit

4. Put the url in the website box

Otherwise I get the same message as other people are getting.

Thank you for sharing this work-around. Although it adds another step, it does work! I was just now able to pin a new product by first creating a manual pin with the pin image, title and description. I left the URL blank and saved the pin. The pin successfully saved and I was able to open the newly created pin and add my product url.

yes same here big red banner saying verify your business
