Can Zazzle add the ability to create dashed lines, circles, and squares as an option on the design tool?
And please add a polygon tool with clickable nodes for editing the polygon shapes.
This is my Christmas Wish List.

There is a square, triangle, circle, and line that we can use and publish in the elements. It allows you to use one color for the border of varying width and another for the center.

Yes, I know that. What I’m asking for is the ability to create a dashed border on those elements. 🙂

In the meantime, you could create SVGs for those elements so you can size & color them however you wish. Granted, you'd be limited, but it would be a step in the right direction.

So, the problem with that potential solution is that the width of the dotted line scales when you scale the SVG, leaving me with varying line thicknesses in the design. 😞

You're absolutely right...
However, I'm freshly back from fooling around with the idea of a dashed line where I found that if it's a bottom layer on top of a plain background, we can use the line element, making the length of the line we want, then create another line the same color as the background, turn this line 90 degrees, then copy & paste it as many times as necessary to run across the initial line at intervals, It creates the appearance of a dashed line. Caveat: It works but is a PITA to accomplish.

Hyphens.
There was a font that was made up entirely of little dashes and made words look as if they'd been stitched. For some reason, Zazzle eliminated it. It's a free font, so that wasn't the problem: https://dasauge.com/fonts/luna-9-aoe/

That would work for straight lines, but not circles, squares, triangles, etc. 😞

You're absolutely right, but your wish might never come true here on Zazzle, the reason being that, as of my older version of Photoshop (CS3), dashed lines can be created with the Paintbrush, but there are no facilities for it with their built-in shapes. It might be a knotty thing to accomplish.

Thanks for all your info and suggested workarounds. Much appreciated! I’m still hoping that Zazzle developers can add this feature.

So, I was talking to my daughter, who is a web developer, last night. I asked her how difficult it would be for Zazzle’s web developers to add a dotted outline to shapes in the design tool. She said the issue is that Zazzle’s design tool is a web-based tool, not software that resides on computers. And as such, there are limitations with adding features on web-based applications. This is not an impossible request, and it can be done with creative problem solving.
I’m keeping this Zazzle feature on my wish list. If we want to keep pace with—or outpace—our POD competitors, Zazzle needs to add more features to its design tool.
