Hey everyone!
What do you typically do when a client asks for a discount?
I recently had a client inquire about the possibility of offering them a discount on their purchase.
Is it possible to create a special promo code just for my clients on Zazzle? I'm wondering if Zazzle allows for the generation of promo codes that offer either a percentage discount or a fixed amount off the total purchase price.
It would be fantastic if I could share this promo code with my clients so they can enjoy a discount during checkout.
Could you please guide me on how to set this up?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this!

Designers can't create their own promos. The best they can do is alert a customer to a Zazzle promo already in existence.

That’s a good question but I believe Barbara is right. What I started doing pretty much in every single posting on Social Media is that I make sure to include the current promo code in each single posting (wherever I post) like here on X for example: https://x.com/sanfrancisozone/status/1773505784955195822?s=46&t=nMjGqvo8Pk5KkAnqXaSleA

Designers cannot create promos but you can visit Zazzle Coupons & Promotions for available discounts on Zazzle.

You can always transfer to a new product with a reduced royalty and sell via direct link. That way they get a personal reduction.

The one price strategy keeps people from forcing all others to lower prices in order to compete. Therefore I don't believe in allowing individuals to have their own coupon.

There is no one price strategy, we can set whatever royalty we want which means prices are varied.

Agreed. There is definite pressure to stay within a zone no matter how stellar the design/art/ product.

Is there a way to call the current discount code(s) via the api to advertise the ongoing ZZ promotions on a website?

@Joel What a great question!! I’m updating the codes manually now (every couple of days when they will change like tonight again after midnight) - you can see an example at https://sanfrancisco.zone/strength_in_diversity_lgbt_rainbow_flag_pride_month_oven_mitt_pot_holder_s... (top side bar on a desktop, scroll down on mobile).

Interesting, thanks.
Now (why) isn't there a way to automate this simple, yet tedious task? We're in the 21st century. 😉
Kudos to your dedicated motivation, @MOM
